Always felt that coming into the league as a 2nd Rounder, that with patience and hard work Ayo would find a solid niche in The League. One where he could ultimately retire with generational wealth.
This is now a lock. His next contract will be massive. Couldn't happen to a better guy and a great family!

I looked at existing contracts and he was definitely in the 12M-15M cohort. 3 years for 70M seems high, but will see.
For sure. But taking into account the cap should keep going up, if he gets 6MOTY on 50/40/90 splits.....he might get even more than that if he can keep it up this season

He'd actually be the first if he qualified, but Meyers Leonard shot 50/40/90 one year, if memory serves, but he didn't qualify due to low volume of 3s that year.

Seems wrong of you to have left Giorgi B. out of this comment... speaking of whom, I am surprised we haven't brought him on as some sort of recruiting ambassador or something. I'm betting we'd pay him more than the G-League.
Edit: Though I'm looking at his Wikipedia now and with the short G-League season, looks like he can play for two teams per year and probably earn OK money.
