5:00 mark -- Up 16 pts
3:13 mark -- Up 11 pts

We lost by 20 pts last year in Champaign. Might this be a 30 pt turnaround in 1 year?

Excellent fundamentals. Great teamwork. Solid help defense. Very impressive Shauna!!! (WITHOUT OUR BEST PLAYER, TOO).

Impressive win should get some votes in the rankings I would hope. Ladies play hard. Double double for Bostic. Too many turnovers, but we were without our point guard and leading scorer so I think it’s fine. 10 point win at the buzzer. Congratulations gals!

Well played game, good on D, moved the ball well, multiple scorers with Cook not playing due to the flu. Passed the ball. Not many points from Oden and Peebles but both of them played hard on defense and had great effort. Have to add also that I am always impressed with Bostic getting so many rebounds game after game. Plus she has help this year.

Missouri came in with a 10-1 record with their only loss to #6 Virginia Tech. I think we may still struggle with B10 teams that have a big post player but this team and coach are going to make us very proud this year.

Very impressive showing today by the ladies! Even more so with Cook out.

Both teams almost mirror each other. Bunch of 3 pointers or attack the basket. Main difference I saw was points off turnovers. Illinois had 19 turnovers and Missouri had 17. Illinois had 28 points off turnovers and Missouri had 12. Pretty sure half of those points for Missouri came in the 4th quarter once they were down a decent amount and putting more pressure on Illinois full court.

Illinois has shot a high percentage for most of the season. This could keep them in a ton of games this season. I know Cook was out but the starters played a majority of the minutes today. Oden played 15 minutes and Ndour played 2 minutes off the bench. Definitely will be interesting to watch more players develop as the season goes along. Go Illini!
