ESPN has our ladies as a projected 10 seed right now.. in south bend. This could be a really good thing

According to the News Gazette she is 6th in B1G at $800,000 per year. Salaries range from $1.7m to $547,000.
She made $489k at Dayton. Her brother-in-law, Greg Heiar, was hired as head men's coach at New Mexico State at about the same time. His salary is $300k plus various incentives that could bump it up another $200k by winning conference, making NCAA tourney, etc.

ESPN has our women as a ten seed in the latest bracketology!
The possibility of a post-season appearance has been tumbling around in my head for the past couple of weeks, but I was too nervous to throw it out there. I got on campus fall of 2003. The last time we made the NCAA tournament was spring of 2003. As an out-of-state student, I wasn't a fan till I walked on campus, thus they've never been in the tournament while I've cheered for them. I desperately want to be able to turn on ESPN come March and see our women playing. Even if we don't make the tournament this year, the NIT seems very possible. We've all said this so much recently, but it's remarkable this is all in play after everything we've been through.

If we can play .500 in conference we should get in imo. And I think that is doable. It’s clear the polls are not ready to show us any respect yet, so we will have to knock off a ranked team or two.

If Shauna Green recruits as well as she coaches, Illini are soon to be a WBB BlueBlood.
I know very little about WBB and so I don't know if this is a fair comparison, but I struggle to think of a MBB comparison for what's happening here.

Then again, I struggle to think of a MBB comparison for the state of this program over the past decade or so. It never made a lick of sense for the University of Illinois to be that bad at basketball of either gender and very glad to see that abating.

How much roster turnover has there been from last season?
