When do we think we will get to see the new and hopefully improved roster?

Any news on if Irvin is going to remain on staff? The #1 player in Illinois in the class of 2022 decommitted from Texas A&M. She attends Kenwood which has some connections to Illinois Basketball.

Someone previously posted that Fahey's entire coaching staff is gone. They (including Irvin) are no longer listed on the coaches roster on the team's webpage, so my guess is no.

Only one assistant spot has been filled. You have to wonder if Green would be open to bringing Irvin back to help with recruiting the state.

Camille Jackson signed a LOI. She is a 4 star from Chicago, rated #65 nationally. I assumed Irvin was responsible for recruiting her. Any news? What about the other recruits?

Oof then. Why did she decide to reopen her recruitment? Is it because of Cook?
Muhl decommitting is likely NBD.

The Boneyard's assessment is that Muhl's decommitment may well have been a mistake. She had the opportunity to play a terrific coach (consensus is UI's signing of Green was at or near the top of the signings) at a P5 program that has playing time. Those that follow this sort of thing think she's a "mid-major" talent, not near Nika's level.

Not sure if this is still relevant, but Bri McDaniel narrowed her list of schools to Georgia, Louisville, Texas A&M, Mississippi State and Texas before she committed to A&M. She indicated on her Twitter feed that she has a short list of schools that she's considering now that she's reopened her recruitment, but didn't share any more information. Would love to see her play with Jackson and Cook in orange and blue.

Could there be a relationship between Bond-White leaving Texas A & M and Bri McDaniel de-committing? And could that lead to the two coming to UIUC? Wishful thinking probably, but wishful thinking is one of our best things.

I thought that she would be a good choice for one of the D-1 universities in Chicago, but getting her chance at SIU-C is good too. Her rep as a recruiter will be put to the test at a mid major, but if she kick starts the program and succeeds, she won't be there long. She's well known in the upper stratosphere of WBB as a good assistant.

Welcome aboard Shauna Green. Let's get the gals program relevant and a winner.
Shauna's sister is married to Greg Heiar who recently accepted the men's head coaching position at New Mexico State. Both will have home courts named after Lou Henson. Rumor has it that Shauna will have a higher base salary than Greg.

She has a higher mountain to climb. If so she will earn it. Also, nothing wrong with pay equity.
