So if the team wins by 70 points against ANYBODY, im sure thats worth a few more ranking votes...This was a cupcake that helped all our new additions breathe life into their games..Put a bit of confidence in them for sure..Down the road i can see starter in the two Allen and my new favorite Shay B Bollin on this court...Lol. If we beat Notre Dame then i see a consistent March up the polls...I have missed Adalia some..Where ya at Kobe Doll?

Not sure which thread this belongs in, but Iowa goes down at home to unranked Kansas State. Hawkeyes had the lead late and then went completely cold the last 3 minutes.

that's so so sad...........the big 6' 6" woman from KSU dominated the paint.......I watched most of this game and CC was cold as ice.....

I didn't look at the stats......did CC take 50 FGA ?...............lol

K state did the same thing to Clark as we did, they got in her head. I am amazed other teams don't do this to her. K state stayed with her non stop, played physical and she does draw fouls, but she went out of her way to dish it back and was focused on that. Her shooting was effected by her focus on drawing fouls and pushing and shoving. Clark was 9 for 32 from the field. Yes she had 24 points but she missed 23 shots. I have said this many times before she is best player in WBB, but biggest cry baby also. She shot air balls at key moments.

Iowa got the bulk of the calls also last night, home team and the Clark bias. Including a bizarre end to 3rd quarter. Iowa took a shot after the shot clock expired. Refs missed it and they K state complained. Shot was taken at about 7.4 seconds. Game stopped 4.5 with K state having the ball at mid court. Review showed shot was after clock had expired. So instead of resetting the clock and give K state the ball or at least give them the ball with4.5 left they ruled end of 3rd Q but just removed the 2 points from Iowa for the late shot. One example of many that Iowa got the calls, well Clark does.

As a team we are far better than Iowa. Clark is the difference. If we slow her, take her out of the game like we did last year we win again. Oh by the way during the game the announcers talked about how good Maryland guarded Clark last year. They must not have watched our game last year against princess Caitlin.

I don't like one thing about the team Clark plays for but I enjoy her in college basketball. She is GREAT for exposure in the Women's game. It is just that much sweeter when Iowa loses ;)

Rare off night for Clark plus the starting backcourt didn't score much. The time Illinois beat them Marshall and Martin shot ok but combined for 9 points. Last night Marshall and Martin combined for 2 points.

Crazy to see that LSU, UConn, Iowa and few other top teams go down already. Love it!

Big headline coming into the game vs Notre Dame is health for both teams

Notre Dame guard Sonia Citron got hurt in last game and didn't return. Huge loss if she doesn't play. TBD

Watch her have a Kolek (Marquette) type of recovery.

I must have missed it, but did Makira Cook travel with the team, and is she expected to play?

I have been able to finally figure out that Makira Cook did practice this week, so I expect she traveled to Wash DC for today's nationally televised game (NBC 12 pm CT) against Notre Dame? Anyone know yet whether she will play?
