Fun game to be at. Illini rally from 11 down. The atmosphere was great. I thought Hobby was fantastic down the stretch. Some great high/low action and strong finishes at the rim.
Cook played strong D on Battle in 4th quarter and Gen found her radar

Braun getting hurt for Minnesota early in the 4th quarter made the difference. Illinois took advantage. Good win!

Need a LOT of retribution vs Michigan. I'm sure that the 84-48 drubbing that we took on our home floor as we opened up conference play is still fresh on the minds of the team. I don't think that we need a 36-point victory on THEIR home floor, but I would be happy with a "W" no matter what the final margin is.
Michigan has dominated the series for years. Something like 8 straight and 14 of last 15.

I just got around to watching the victory over the goofers yesterday morning and what I saw in the 4th quarter was a determined look in the eyes of the Illini that showed they were tired of losing close games and they played more like last year's team than this years team so far this season............
The playing of Hobby and Kim B. together was a smart move by coach Green....... Cleared up the size differential from past games and , I swear , every time Hobby shoots the ball , i expect it to go in.......She has a killer mid range shot and it really really helps to get more rebounds , especially with our undersized backcourt.........
Bottom line is I think the Illini are mad about how this season has gone down and realize their opportunities are fading fast on getting to the dance this year........

Little surprised to see us as only 4.5 point dogs. Decent amount of respect for us considering the results so far plus the blowout loss last time to Michigan.
Score has been wrong several times too. However students learning. The signal being bad is the problem I agree
