We are going to be tall, fast, and deep. A little young but our returning/transfer core is experienced.

Soph Berry 26 mpg
JR Jasmin 26 mpg
Soph transfer Aaliyah 16 mpg at Iowa
JR or RS Soph Gretchen 25 mpg before injury (8 games) 18 mpg as FR
JR transfer Maddie 33 mpg
Scoring leaders will be SOOOOOOOO different than any of the past 3 years. Anxious to see how everything shakes out!

I think that we'll be fine with scoring. Multiple options there. I wonder who will rebound. We are losing our top rebounder and one of the best in the country. We return no one who showed any inclination to rebound from last year's squad. Will Lety rebound? Any of the newbies? Benson looks to be an excellent rebounder at the high school level but not sure how many minutes she will get this year.

It may have helped Parchment to have come during last season for sideline observations and the off-season condition

Certainly points out the massive difference between the D3 level & D1 in terms of coaching. Fahey was wildly successful in D3 and was beyond horrid at the D1 level. As good as Bert has been on the football side, what Shauna Green has done is even better.

This was definitely Whitman's worst hire. He chose her because he was her AD at Washington University in St.Louis. She never had a competitive team in her 5 years at Illinois.

I felt she was hired because he could trust her, run the program, stay out of trouble. Bigger focus was needed on football and men’s bball

I do think this had something to do with it. In retrospect, would he have wanted to make a better hire? Absolutely. But he knew FB and MBB were much bigger priorities and put his energy and resources there. When he turned his sights back on WBB, he got it right.
