Dolan isn't dressed.
She looked terrible last time she tried to play. Could not defend at all. I think she is done for season.

I honestly believe if they would have had the other two freshmen and and Gretchen healthier,I would have envisioned a14 and maybe 15 and 3 conference record.A 9 player rotation,but like coaches injury is part of the game... I can hear the coaches contemplating next year's big jump..lol

Minnesota is not a cupcake..If they win out at 11-7 we should get a higher seed that 8....6seed would be nice
right now we are #8 seed in same region as UCONN #1 . A pickem #8 vs #9 first round, then #1 seed on UCONN home court 2nd round. OUCH

a #7 seed gets you a 7 vs 10 then playing a #2 on their home court

a #6 seed get you 6 vs 11 then playing a #3 on their home court

You have to get all the way to #4 seed to host a region. Other wise you are always playing 2nd round on higher seed home court.

#1 see UCLA is hosting
#2 Michigan is hosting
#3 seed Iowa is hosting
#3 seed Md is hosting
#4 seed MSU hosting

Hopefully by next season we can host. We're still in the happy to be there stage.

We could conceivably beat some 3 and 4 seeds. Like Maryland! But I'd rather avoid those 1 and 2 seeds for as long as possible. Maybe somebody else will knock them off first.

upside is these freshman and Maddie and Guyton are getting some valuable experience and having a great season.

I don't want to be playing at #1 seed on their home court in the 2nd round - UCONN, UCLA, Texas or South Carolina

we have to win @Iowa#13 and vs Minnesota #23 to improve our seed

Our signature wins are
MD #7
@ WA #25

Losses to ranked teams
@MSU #24
OSU #19
@Mich #8
@Neb #24
UCLA #2

Wow I didn't know Minnesota is a ranked team.They kinda have an Iowa build having so many players..I think that we have pretty good matching in both games.Both teams look physical and have shooters.I think Destiny just is able to handle the guards to slow the attack but the physicality of those teams could be an issue. Our team is skilled and detail oriented when they're at the best...We can win them all... Or lose them all...It's crazy but but thrilling to know they look like future champions at times..

Today's game against Northwestern, as far as I'm concerned, is a big one. It's a great opportunity to lock up 9 wins and a .500 or above record in conference.

I didn't expect this before the season. I was prepared for a lot of hard knocks in conference play. I'm thrilled with where we are at and how competitive we are. Bracketologists have been fans, consistently putting us in the tournament around an 8-9 seed.

Let's close the regular season strong, and I’ll call this season a big success and name Shauna Green and staff my favorites for coaching staff of the year.

The growth of Berry Wallace’s game and a fiercer demeanor… Destiny Jackson and Cearah Parchment bursting onto the scene… the spark of Maddie Webber… microwave scoring potential from healthy Gretchen Dolan... Aliyah Guyton starting to find her groove... complementing the effort and glue that Jasmine Brown-Hagger provides day in and day out…

I've generally felt that Vasconcelos is a liability on the court--tall in stature but short on mobility, hands, touch around the basket, post moves, and a mean streak, she struggles to guard, defend the paint, rebound, and score--but the last couple weeks there have been glimmers of much-needed tenacity. Maybe Berry Wallace has rubbed off on her.

Let's go!
