Not sure if Gretchen will be able to play this season, but I feel that we've figured out how to play together without her.

That's a winner! 92 - 65. Illini now 19-8 and 9 -7.

Per tv announcers: In her fourth season, Coach Green has never lost to NW! In the previous 7 seasons to Coach Green, Illini NEVER beat NW!

2nd season Dolan has had knee issues. Surgery needed? Next yr when the 2 injured players are healthy that will add depth and may send GD to a reserve role where she might be better suited.

That is what I suggested. Dolan and Brown-Hagger should not be starters. My sources have told me that the Illini will be getting a portal transfer from a highly regarded recruit Top 10 from the 2025 class that they missed on. You can do your own research.

It cannot be overstated how great Shauna Green has been for our women's team. In just a few short years, she's taken us from the doldrums of the B10 and being an afterthought in women's hoops to a strong team that's now respected nationally and that NOBODY wants to play against. JW really found a gem when he hired her and I honestly don't think it's unrealistic to think that we can be at the top of the B10 and make a great run in the NCAA Tournament in a couple years under her leadership. I absolutely love this woman!

Question: Thinking about taking my girls to see their first game Sunday! When you purchase the general admission tickets is it first come first serve as far as seating?

finally got around to watching the replay and it was a fine performance by the Illini with a big win over the mildcats.......I took some time away from basketball after that terrible loss to ucla and caught up on some Olympic action.......

we have a very young and exciting team with 2 excellent frosh out for the season and many returning players next year , but this season is still going on and looks like we will make the Dance as a 7-8-9 seed...............keep playing as we are now and we could surprise some teams in the BTT and the NCAA's................

GO ILLINI !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TY.

Sure hope we can work our way up to a #7 or #6 seed over the next two weeks in order to avoid playing a #1 seed --- after we win our opener.

And all of this raises the question in my mind. How's our 2026-27 WBB NIL money shaping up?

Do believe Destiny was a 5* or were you referring to her composite rating? And don't forget about super sub Maddie Webber in Shauna's haul

Ask our benefactor Sheila Johnson. She's given millions to the program since Shauna arrived, I believe.
