I did not realize.

Now that's a damned good equivalent to Phil Knight / Mark Cuban. And for women's basketball, that just might be the equivalent of "infinite funds."

We should, therefore, be in very good hands!

It's time to move on from Gretchen. Illinois will be getting a highly regarded transfer from the portal. A young lady that was a Top 10 recruit from the 2025 class that Illinois came in second.

I wonder if we've seen Gretchen's best days already. I hope she comes back strong, but man, two different knee injuries in two years. That's tough.

Team was on a roll 14-3 till Gretchen was injured. Big wins #7 Md

5-5 since. Schedule was much tougher. We lost #8 Michigan #24 Nebraska #2 UCLA. Now 19-8.

With Gretchen maybe we win @Oregon 3 pt loss, or beat USC at home 8 point loss

On plus side injury freed up playing time for Aliyah and freed up shots for Destiny. Both have showed significant improvement.

Achilles heal of this team is still lack of size and strength. Michigan Nebraska and UCLA all pounded us in paint. Cearah is a 4 not a 5.

Tonight is gonna be interesting. Can we hang with Iowa and maybe steal one? Sure would be nice to win at least one of the last two. Losing both would not do much for our confidence going into the B1G tourney. I think Lety needs to be at her very best tonight to give us a chance.

I don’t know what you were watching and I like Gretchen but she was really struggling shooting the basketball

35-35 at half and we are playing quick against the physical play of Iowa. Holding our own, just wish Lety didn't have 3 cheap fouls. Iowa shot 58% from the field and we still stayed with them.

Starting with one minute to go , no matter what happened the foul was on us, crazy stuff. Great game however, it is hard to win in Iowa.

Wow total horse

offensive foul call cost us a chance to tie it at the end. Stupid end to a phenomenal game. Great effort but a couple bad turnovers and some ill-advised hero ball cost us late
