Not familiar with the name Journee Houston. I live 45 minutes south of the QC. Will be more than happy to check out her games if I knew which school.

There is nothing to say. The WBB staff did the work early and just waiting for summer practices. I mean Shauna threw out the first pitch again at a Cubs game.. That's as exciting as it's been.
Everyone is going to have to jump on the WBB bus cause this staff is on the verge of something special in terms of coaching, player development, and recruiting. Shauna was 2 ace recruiters now with BA and CM. We have already seen Shauna can close with the best of them. ILL.

I've lost track since graduating and living out-of-state. Are we still on the 5.0 scale or did we finally move to 4.0?
Not sure when, but they definitely made the switch to a 4.0 sometime between when I graduated and my daughters enrolled a few years ago.

Pretty sure it was a 4.0 scale when I was in school way back in the late 90s and early 2000s.

Are the freshmen still required to live in a dorm?

Green was desperate last spring and took a lot of long shot recruits like Ndour.

We really only had 1.5 effective bigs so the playing time was available. Especially at the end of the season when Bostic was injured. She still did not make it on the court.

With all the high ranked talent coming in, the writing will be on the wall for players that aren't competitive and we will continue to see transfers.

With a plan to rejoin the Illini?
Yes, the coaches got a special waiver for Coach Cat to be able to coach her during the past month, so she could train for her national team tryouts, it has helped improve her awareness and mental quickness.. hopefully working with Camille during the summer she will be able to put in meaningful backup when she is on the floor.

Ticket prices for women's basketball are still very attractive:

  • General Admission – $50
  • Floor – $65
  • Reserved – $85
  • Volleyball & Women's Basketball General Admission Combo – $90
  • Loge – $99
  • Courtside – $150
Even General Admission tickets get you very close to the action if you get in the house a half hour before the tip. Parking is free and, again, very close to the stadium.

Edit: These are season ticket prices (not single game).
