Where do we stand amongst those 5? I’m a little surprised to see Pitt on the list.

Big Ten opponents announced. Illinois will not host Iowa in '23-'24.

I understand that conference realignment has to happen, and I am generally thankful that we are among the "haves" and not worrying about our future everyday like an Oregon State fan; I genuinely feel bad for those folks, and I recognize Illinois is quite lucky.

With that said, it is pretty crazy that we only play 5 of our 13 conference rivals home and away in a given season. I think a dream future for me in college athletics is this all culminates in a "burn it to the ground" moment for the NCAA, we get a pro-style split with the Big Ten being like the NL and the SEC being like the AL and the divisions we are all divided into are similar to the old conferences or at least geographically sensible.

Hey, don’t worry about us Oregon State fans. We’re Beaver Believers. 😁

The schedule makers did us no favors. We play Indiana (16-2 last year), Maryland (15-3), and Michigan (11-7 like us) each twice. Another team ahead of us last year (Iowa 15-3) we play only away. It's going to be a slugfest. I'm hoping that our added depth this year will help alleviate our late season swoon from last year.

With the increased depth and size we will be a much better team. B10 WBB is ridiculously good.

Last year we were 11-7 B10 with upset win over Iowa. Huge improvement over 1-13 prior year.

Probably should have beaten Nebraska and Purdue in Champaign but we basically stole 20 wins with an undersized lineup, only one big, and 2 leading scorers were transfers. (Bryant NC State, Cook Dayton)
