Genuine question, when is the last time Illinois won a game where the defense was terrible, they had some backbreaking mistakes... bonus points if it was a ranked matchup?
If someone would have said they wouldn’t punt and we’d fumble twice on the goal line and they recovered bot, I’d say we wild lose by 20.

Heckle was in perfect position on both of those plays, with tight coverage, he just couldn’t make the stops.
He will improve and get better from that, and thankfully we won.
