After 6 straight losses to the Cats, damn it’s nice to get a blowout win. Northwestern is awful, but we’ve made progress this season. I actually have hope for the future, which is kinda wild.

Nice thrashing of the Cats after 686832457314753475175 consecutive losses to them.
A frustrating, but fun season. Better feeling than the end of most seasons…. Which is just frustrating.

It was the best five-win season in my memory at least.
Good for the team. I’m happy for them. As fans we weren’t happy with the season record and the team’s performance over the course of every game, but great to see them end the losing streak to NW and finish the season strong with a game that was never in doubt. And a great last play with Jake and Epstein in there. Looking forward to seeing how BB and staff end recruiting this year and attack the transfer portal.

It will be an interesting off-season, Illinois loses a lot of experience and starters. I think we go backwards for 2 years, unless Beilema can bring in impact transfers across sevetal positions. I hope I'm wrong.

Great ending of the season for a new era of Illinois football. The future looks bright. Would be awesome for the kids to make a bowl game, but regardless, things are changing for Illinois football.
Hopefully hoops can turn it around this year.
