Great win! Gutty performance. Really proud of these guys.

Especially happy to see Mark Smith make some big plays. Really hope his confidence gets going.

This is a stinger for Tim Miles

A bigger stinger for those D-bag walk-ons on the end of the Nebraska bench.

It's great to have fun. All these kids should be having fun. But their showmanship is pretty pathetic.

Good fight! Lack of position talent didn’t hurt us in this one. One thing I have to give to BU is that the team has fought and clawed in all but 3 games this year. That is a reflection of a new culture being born!

BOOM! Feed my ego.
As frustrating as this season has been, they're so close to being a .500 team in B10 play. That wouldn't be enough to get in the dance, but it sure beats 3-15 or 4-14.

Let's hope this is the start of better things to come :illinois:

Unfortunately, ending the season with road trips to Michigan State and Purdue (and of course Rutgers) isn't a great way to end the season on a high note. But this is important nonetheless.....if even to avoid an 8-game losing streak to end the regular season.

These kids fight, and at some point they need to be rewarded. They got it done tonight. Even if they lose the next 3, this is something positive.

Glad I was wrong on all accounts, except the ILLINI fighting, this they did. Roby started to kill us and then fouls caught up to him, Black was outstanding!!!

Good win for us, bad loss for Miles. Of all the other schools as far as coaches go, I wouldn't mind seeing him do well. Seems like a good coach, does the right things, isn't a you know what like many other coaches in conference. Oh well take that loss Tim.

Loved to see Mark Smith put it away. I think we all are happy for Mark, or we should be.

Win 2 of 3 would be special, 1 of 3 expected IMO. Key will be to play well vs the two big boys and then be a pain in some butts in the B10 tournament

Leron was in beast mode. Great confidence builder for MS.. and TF delivered on the stripe at the end. We need some confidence into off season...this should help.

Smitty, Smitty!!!!!! Kid can play, needs to just relax and roll. Notice how he quit looking over shoulder at every whistle? BU rewarded him for his play and kept on the floor, I think they will have a nice hug out today. We need you Smitty!

Great game by Leron and Mark Smith with some good play. Kipper played well against a big front line

But TJL with the critical miss at the line again.

Nice win. Great game by Black and a nice contribution from Mark Smith. Good to see the freshmen play some meaningful and impactful minutes.

Quadrant 3 loss for Nebraska. NIT for you. Let’s see if they can win a true road game this year and hang a Quadrant 4 loss on somebody.

Good win by the team - shows what we can achieve when we stay out of foul trouble. And we did it with MF out - really needed his shooting and experience this game - we had a hard time putting pressure on the sides when Nebbie was in a zone D.

And for crying out loud can we get a time limit on reviews - if you can't figure it out in 30 seconds, then its too close to call - so let the play stand. And that last one that was clearly out on Watson . I think it went something like this - Ref 1: "Gee Bob, that was a really crappy call on your part - were you drinking before the game again? I'll tell you what - we will hem and haw about this and talk about it for a good 2 minutes so that it 'APPEARS' it was a really close call but you really missed that one. Please get your head out of your *ss so we can get this game over"
