Really nice to see Tracy see some great results from all his hard work. He has been slowly coming out of this slump. If we can get him back to shooting 35-40% 3 pts shots, with this better defense we will be extremely dangerous. I hope we can somehow finish 9-9 in conference. We then have a good shot at making the tournament. I am withering away every March not watching Illinois in the NCAA. I'm ready for some beer and wings on that first Thursday/Friday!!

That was beautiful. So great to see us blow out a team on the road. So nice to see THEM get sloppy out of frustration at the end.

Very happy for the Illini. They are living up to the Fightin' in their name.

Just finished watching. Great game. They really took it to a team on the road. Nice to see Tracy hitting shots. If he has rediscovered his non-con stroke the offense becomes much better. I-L-L-

Great job by the team tonight! Glad they can get another win! Happy that Abrams had success tonight. For all of the work he has put in to rehabbing himself for this season it was nice to see him making major contributions. Hill has put together three really nice games in a row. I like that the seniors are really stepping up right now. Lucas and Nichols continue to impress, love how they just make plays.

The improvement on defense generally over the last few weeks has been great to see. Specifically, Mav looks like a completely different player on the defensive side.

I think it's pretty clear Tracy was going through a dead leg period. The offense runs so much better when Tracy hits some shots.

While I'm not ready to say that Tracy is back to early in the year form I was going to say the same thing in the game thread. Given that Spring Training has started it seemed like the right metaphor.

+1. Mav has looked much better on defense. Bodying up better, poking out inlet passes, blocking shots. He is playing SO much better.

aren't all conference tournamets "on the road" for all the teams? Or were you trying to ask a different question?

Gotta give Mav his due. After year 2, I didnt see any future for him here, or in any basketball sense.

That's the way I saw it too. "Get OFF me, b#*$ !". Could have really slammed him but didn't. Just sorta shucked him after Morrow hacked him.

Good move to pull him at that point too. As one of the announcers said Nobody's happy right now.

I saw it the same way. The hard foul in the air was more likely to cause injury than Leron's shove, and the camera view from the baseline showed that Leron didn't slam him to the ground like he easily could have.

It looked pretty bad from the normal camera view but when they showed it from the end-line it didn't look bad at all IMO.

Yeah, after watching it a few times in the gifs thread, Leron's arms were behind Morrow and Leron was coming down on an angle due to Morrow's hard foul. Leron was spinning left and as Morrow went down, his momentum toward the base line made it look like Leron threw him down, but I don't think that is what really occurred.
