This team is legit. It's long, deep, athletic, and can shoot. If we continue to gel we will be a tough out come March. In my experience playing a zone can be tough, and I think we learned and adapted well and I think we saw what worked.
Coleman was great tonight obviously, but I felt he could've (should've?) probably had another 5-10 points if I was nitpicking. There were times he got the ball in the middle, which we know is a great way to break down/beat a zone, and didn't even look to score from 8-12 ft. Fam, you're 7 ft and bouncy... you probably don't need to even put the ball on the floor and if you have to you got that skill too! I loved some of the hook and put shots he took, take more in there big dawg! Perhaps it was a bit of a perspective issue on TV and he/the lane wasn't as open as it appeared.
I'm super high on Jayden. He's a dog who just has a knack for playing well, being in the right spot, a consistent scorer, and a big shot maker. I see him as an absolute stud guard in the B1G for a few years, at the minimum!
TSJ does it all, obviously. He's the dude out there and you can tell he LOVES the competition. Dain is a monster. He should've had a couple other baskets tonight but I felt like he kinda just got unlucky to be honest! Poor man's Olajuwon, which almost seems sacrilege as he's a top 3 player ever for me.
Excited for the journey this year! ILL
