I like winning but somehow that wasn't a fun one to watch. Waaaay too many opportunities to stretch it out.

I was afraid that Emery's shot would have been one we'd look at in March as the difference maker in missing the tournament. That was a painful second, on top of an anxiety filled half.

A lot of guys stepped up in this one. Illini managed to score 75 while only getting 14 from Hill and Black. Total team effort.

It really was. Im sooo used to those shots going in for our opponents. ( i keep thinking of the Fresno St football game a few years back)

That's now 2.5 good wins on the resume. Honestly, am I the only one glad about this win? We played like garbage from about the last 5 minutes of the first half, and the first 15 minutes of the second and we beat a tournament caliber team! Plus, Leron practically didn't play the entire second half and we won. Just need to take care of the ball better, for whatever reason couldn't figure out their zone? Bring on the Tigers.
