I watched all the games and being team players dont mean that you dont get to play up to your potential . I dont know who makes up these ridiculous excuses for not playing well. What about Trents role has changed ? When did he stop being expected to make open shots and aggressively attack the rim
What Trent did last game is what you would expect any 4 year senior starter with his abilities to be giving you every night regardless of who he is playing with.
MSU has limited guard play and they hung with Iowa due to to Iowas having a porous D. I agree that winning in East Lansing is tough but they do not match up well with us and they are not deep

Trent is having arguably his best season this year.
So it would be weird to criticize his performance so far this season. And if the issue is simply how he performed last year, why does that matter? He has bounced back in a big way and he is helping us win games. As for the question of how his role has changed with the additions of Ayo and Kofi, the answer is exceedingly simple. He is no longer our primary (or secondary) option on offense. That should be pretty obvious. Instead, he is leading the charge on defense and providing offensive output when necessary. He knows his role on this team and he's playing it pretty darn well in my opinion.
I work with a lot of IU grads. They are not happy with Archie - not enough progress in 4 years. It feels good not having that conversation (at least for most).

1) to the ayo didn’t show up crowd. having the ability to impact the game when you are NOT scoring is the sign of a great player. Boards, key assists to Trent, and just making IU generally terrified of him on the court so they build walls on him and leave others open is impacting the game.
2) same for Miller. His scoring comes and goes but if you can’t see him busting his butt on defense go see your eye doctor.
3) Curbelo is incredible. He is a playmaker, plain and simple. “Dribbling into a crowd” is also called “collapsing the defense” and he’s a willing and great passer. I love when he has the ball because i can’t wait to see what he’s gonna do with it.

Wonder why he was only charged with 1 TO? 61 assists with 24 TO’s in conference play. Ayo must be a huge liability with 48 assists and 30 TO’s.

Driving the lane provides a lot of opportunity for cutters and easy baskets. Penetration is a good thing.
To be fair, I think McCamey ended up playing like 37 or 38 minutes that night.
And he is developing into a damn good defensive player although not as good as Ace. I just know I would absolutely hate him if he played for the opposition. His shot selection was questionable but that also will improve. FG% .408Some fans just don't see it the way the majority of us do.

Right. And as far as getting 'caught' or doing something wrong goes, he got whistled for zero fouls. Incredible in context.
Nope wrong had his arm behind but did not wrap him at all your seeing what you wanna see
The announcers even commented that from the other angle, it was an anticipatory call. They just assumed he was all over him, but there’s a four inch gap from the other angle.

He is developing some moves he did not have last year

Both seem to be getting a step quicker.

Most of the film from 60 to 70 years ago was not of particularly good quality and difficult to preserve
