Not what I'm seeing. But if you're looking for something negative I suppose you can use the video to support about any theory.

I'm going with the theory that the fifth year senior, generally accepted to be one of the headier players ever to suit up for Illinois, actually ran the play that the coach wanted.
Brad also admitted in the post game press that it was a broken play. Trent just salvaged it by being Trent

Izzo is whining about officiating. Was complimentary in a somewhat backhanded way about Trent. He thinks Kofi is getting away with murder while we all think he’s getting hacked on every play. Wasn’t very complimentary of Brad either. “He’s gotten a couple of good player”
Wow. Excepting the complaining about the officiating part, I would vehemently disagree with your ‘take’ on the Izzo presser.

Maybe I overlooked it in the other comments, but I’m surprised no one mentioned Kofi’s ft shooting today. It didn’t even look like the blind squirrel finding the nut, he looked confident and focused at the line and took care of business. Down the stretch I was more confident in his fts than Curbelo’s. He had two things to work on this year, passing from the post and ft shooting. He improved in both areas.

The last three Illini teams have been very different in a lot of ways but the fearlessness and pugnacity they have in common has made them such a joy to watch, I try to never lose my appreciation of that.

A round, strange looking particle (Covid and/or Krutwig) has cruelly denied the previous two the ending they deserved. That's the only chapter left to be discovered, really.

What a terrible possession and bailed out by a hero shot. But I guess sometimes you just have to make a shot.
Disagree. 1) run clock 2) get off a shot 3) make the shot 4) win the game

We may not see Izzo in a good mood anytime soon, given that Sparty has now lost 4 of its last 5 and will be (per KenPom) the underdog in its next 4 games (at Iowa, Purdue, at Michigan, at OSU).

BU and his teams beginning to remind me of the best parts of Gene Keady and his squads in the '80s: toughness, stamina, and resilience but with better talent.

Izzo is really hard to watch on the sidelines the way he cries to officials all game even on legit fouls- it probably got him a couple of calls today, but where is his self respect? Yes, officials are horrible, get used to it

With the goon attack on Ayo last year and his constant whining- I’ve lost all respect for Izzo over the last couple of years
