It's almost like our offense has been elite ever since Tyler took over. I was hesitant to begin with (Nepotism and all), but show me any stats that prove otherwise. When have the Illini ever been in a consistent position like this?

And our defense seems to be very adaptable lately to whatever it needs to do to get the job done. Something that has been lacking the last couple of (Hamer) years. Nice to finally see a change.

Rebounding missed shots and scoring on the second try was Illinois' best offense in the first half. Illinois absolutely manhandled the smaller wildcats on the offensive boards during the 1st twenty minutes.

Martinelli drove in twice out of control. One losing his balance on a spin and the other crashing into the defender backwards and was bailed out both times by the refs calling bs foul calls.

Today's was ludicrous. That play was one that anyone who has ever played a sport where two players jostle to get to a loose ball first has experienced a thousand times! To punish it so harshly makes no sense.

I think we will be at least 8 in the NET. Iowa State likely moves down. plus several road wins hopefully helps. but we do have a few people behind us like Nebraska and Houston that might leap us
