As an old man, I was around watching the 89 and 05 and those teams were amazing to watch. All year, I’ve been thinking this team isn’t the same as those teams and doesn’t have what it takes due to the lapses in intensity in some of the losses.

But I’ll tell you, these guys have turned it up and are and amazing team to watch. It’s an incredible level they are playing at - and having fun doing it.

This team has more than a legitimate shot to win this whole thing - the improvements they’ve made and the energy they bring is f’ing amazing.

I didn't think that was a dirty play from Damonte. A foul, yes. Gave him a forearm on a boxout, not in the face but in the high upper chest, and the Iowa player sold it well as something flagrant.

That being said, I'm not going to lie, when the refs went to go to the cameras my first thought was wondering whether Damonte was involved.
If you watch closely McCaffery was flopping before Damonte touched him.

Garza doesn't seem like a bad person but I don't know that I honestly see a role for him in today's NBA. As of now, Kofi's potential role could be as a rim protector but Garza's defense really limits his opportunities i think. Who in the NBA right now would you compare to Garza?
I will admit I dont follow the NBA much, but he's gong to be drafted fairly high. Will get a huge guaranteed contract, will make a ton of money , and if Meyers Leonard can stick around for 7-8 years, so will Garza

Garza is really good. If he was ours we would LOVE him. But imo, Kofi is the Shaq type guy that will always have a role on most NBA teams. 90% from 2 point land is better than 60% from 3 point land. Everyone loves to see dunks. Even more than 26 ft 3 point shots

I love Damonte and I'm not saying he's dirty, but it seems to happen to him an awful lot. If it was any other player on the team, I wouldn't comment, but Damonte has been in more than his fair share of situations like that.
Agree 100%. I do wonder though, if today's situation/flying elbow happens on anyone other than McCaffrey. Not an ounce of love lost between those two, and DMW did not play much in the first game vs. Iowa this year. We'll probably never know but I wonder if DMW has been saving up that love tap since their double technicals last year.

Can someone tell me where to watch this game replay? I don’t see it anywhere on the cbs sports app or cbs all access now called Paramount! For some reason the game didn’t record on our hopper!

Speaking as one father to another: please, no matter the odor in your home, for the love of all that is good, do not wash that onesie until April 6th. Sacrifice chickens at the altar in your backyard if you have to. Whatever you gotta do to keep the good juju goin'.

And not to get greedy, but couldn't your wife have delivered on the eve of the Maryland game?!
It already has been washed. I am not washing the shirt I wear. Kind of best of both worlds. Well the day he was born we get Hansen back, so maybe the luck goes beyond basketball??

Was that McCaffrey that he did that to? I take away what I said, hell, I'll pay Damonte to hit him again lol.

Garza will be a scrappy role player in NBA....I like him and wish him well, except against us.

He will not be drafted “fairly high”. I can promise you that.
Outstanding college player that doesn’t have the physical attributes to be a difference maker at the next level. He is fringe at best.
