s clumsy and not athletic. No way a first round pick. He looks like he has cinder blocks on his feet. He will probably get drafted late in the second. But he is not athletic and doesn’t have the speed and agility for the league. More of a set up down low kind of guy. As soon as the announcers said he was a fat kid, it all made sense. He can shoot from outside but he is not an nba guy. Bill Wellington was more athletic.

I feel like the tide turned after the MSU game. The intensity really picked up. other players realized how hard they could play.

Setting here having a cocktail, listening to Spotify jams of sabrina Claudio, Summer walker, Justine Skye, Seven Streeter...etc...enjoying the buzz of another dominating victory by the beloved Illini.....We are a special team that has grown by leaps and bounds as this trying season has progressed to where we are now one of the most FEARED teams in college BB.....A lot of coaches are sweating the selection show tomorrow hoping they are not in our bracket....

You know if we can get Miller to hit better than 50% of those open 3's from the corner where he likes to go hiding, you know, ball goes inside and then gets dished out and/or around, we will be really tough to defend for anyone and any defense.

I will say it again, that we should all sit back and really enjoy this debut of a future superstar in Andre Curbelo.

I am hard pressed to recall any freshman that flourished virtually immediately in the challenging environment of Big Ten play.
We are so lucky that he is an ILLINI.

As long as none of the players are saying or thinking this...they could be OK. They are gaining confidence day to day in what they can do. Displaying passion and belief in defensive effort and focus, and becoming accustomed to doing the right things on defense very quickly, has been their savior. But they can all get better and should look forward to it every game. With that kind of thinking, a dream can become reality.
