Somebody please explain this time narrative to me. NU got 52 points or whatever in the second half. While I certainly agree that the last five minutes were the worst of it, saying we played well for 35 is a big exaggeration.
NU had 53 points at the 35 minute mark. We were up by 23. One more than at the half. That is why.

Was at the game and noticed the stark difference between the ball movement in the 1st half vs the 2nd. Kept wondering why it stopped so much after halftime? Seemed to me KJ was focusing on his stat line trying to get his double double and possible triple. Did anyone else notice that, or am I overthinking? Definitely a different team after the half.

Never change loyalty message board!! We win a game or lose a game. You’re never satisfied lol. I love this team and love this program. I’ve lived through a lot of bad years and cheered through some of the best years. But I will say some of your opinions are laughable. I’ll leave it at that. And if you’re offended or upset about my post. Maybe you’re the problem. 😁
Please please please DO change, Loyalty message board.

Wouldn't it be grand if we all pulled together and said, "Okay, let's be different and better than the type of discourse that has overrun society and basically every other forum on the web and restrict ourselves to posting only measured, thoughtful, deliberated feelings, ideas, and opinions"?

I'm serious, people don't HAVE to be so fast and so furious all the time. It's stale.

I beg of you: Next time you want to hyperbolize that you've "never been so embarrassed..." or some such nonsense, take a deep breath, imagine you are emailing a client or your boss, look on the brightside, and contribute something meaningful and non-clutterizing.

Dan has given us a wonderful forum, let's turn over a new leaf and repay him by filling it with content that could really become the envy of sports messageboarddom.

Like many have said, what amounts to the last quarter of the game was a dominant NU show. They got even a slightly open look and knocked 'em down. I sure didn't like what I was seeing. Now what I just wrote is typical of the hard-core fan; nothing is good enough. We always find ways to focus on the negative. And I'm no exception; it's some level of mental disorder I guess, but it's always contagious.

There's plenty of crazy on here, and, at times, too much. But this suggestion sounds to boring.

This forum is still far more measures and reasonable than most, especially those revolving around sports.

Looked to us like a group still recovering from the flu bug, ran out of gas. A win is a win is a win. Let's work on getting everybody healthy, the rest will take care of itself

anyone here in the Orange Krush? definitely hope that someone is getting feedback to Krush leadership. the energy and coordination is not good
Not in the Krush but you are right.. This is the worst I have seen the Krush in over 20+ years of coming to watch games. They have absolutely no energy at all. Pretty depressing when seeing other schools student sections get after opposing teams. Maybe alcohol related IMHO. Also what the hell was up with a huge section on seats open in the 210 -220 sections. Not that many adults would skip a game against NW. Must be either Krush over fill or students sections.

Since the game was advertised as a sell out it has to be student related. Might be time with the DIA wanting more I Fund money that they start realizing the place looks empty and let real fans buy these seats.

I would love to see the +/- statistics for this team in conference games. Wondering what Will Riley's numbers look like. The offense seems to change for the worse when he's in the game. Lots of uncomfortable possessions and forced shots. He misses too many free throws after getting bailed out by calls on awkward one-on-one efforts. He's become an awful 3-point shooter. I can't imagine him in the NBA next year, so when announcers talk about him in that way, it's a head-shaker for me.

He clearly is not ready for the NBA. I said last week he is weak and some questioned that statement. I mean physically he is not ready for BiG competition. He needs to beef up. The days of "Jimmy the splinter Rayl" are over. I can see a difference in Dra's body from last year. He has muscled up some. I wouldn't be surprised if he transfers out, hope not.

I was in the Krush 10 years ago, cheering on .500 basketball teams, essentially. We had a far greater impact on the games than these students have had this season. How does this get fixed?
Can we get some rapid student fans to organize/energize the Crush from the portal? Maybe collect their phones before the game and tell them the most enthusiastic members photo will be included in post game articles.

Plenty to be optimistic about in this game, despite the lackluster final 5 minutes. Morez played incredibly and continues to amaze me as a freshman. Kylan was making better decisions with the ball until late. Loved seeing Humrichous and Davis stroking some 3's. Much better ball movement, particularly in the first half. And loved seeing the intensity on D, the return to form on rebounding, and the hustle to loose balls.

We've seen the fruits of what this talented team is capable of enough times now. How far they ultimately go depends on having the will to bring consistent effort and continuing to improve as a unit. Getting everybody fully healthy again would also help, so hopefully that's sooner rather than later.

On to the next one. I-L-L!
Seemed like Morez was in on most of those jump balls, he had a great game and played so hard. He reminded me of Kenny Battle.

Student section NIL 😂

Hopefully these concerns are seen. We don’t see the same home court advantage that other schools do.

Or maybe tell them only the most enthusiastic members get their phones back.

Actually, if you look at the play by play, no turnover was recorded for the ending where he put the ball on the floor. If the NW player had taken a shot, I expect the game statistician would have had to list it as a turnover and shot, but as it was, it was ignored. (I would have too).

I was at the game yesterday and left with 3 minutes to go (toddler pointed at door to leave--sounds like he made the right choice). It felt like a complete dominating performance without a key player in the lineup. Slight late game letdowns in blowouts sometimes happen when you go into your bench. Not optimal, but jeez some of you are intolerable with the over the top negative reactions. Yesterday was an important get right game, and getting Morez these starter minutes at this point of the season will be great come March when we will need to have both him and Ivisic in form.

I could not help but feel happy seeing all the times Collins whined at the officials. We completely took NW out of their game, and it showed. No real complaints from me. On to Nebraska!

I think the phones are a huge distraction. Use should be forbidden at the game.
