Whenever this team or any Illini team either loses or gives up or nearly gives up a big lead the troll Illini and the Brad sucks posters come out of the wood work. Every Illini team Ive ever watched did this including the 89 team. 2005 might have been the exception. It’s not coaching. Happens in the NBA constantly. Player can’t get up for every game and when they get big leads they naturally relax slightly, which is all the difference.

Actually it's a "middle aged man yelling at Krush standing around with their arms crossed and on their phones in the middle of the game" comment.

But, you know...if "fine" is the new norm for this generation....I guess that's all we get.

I remember a different Krush that garnered the same love as other student sections. This ain't it.

Agreed on Krush needing to step it up.

But I've also wondered if we can't move the recruits/special guests that sit behind the left basket? That's premium student section seats, and makes our layout somewhat similar to the Izzone.

They put up 53 effing points in the 2nd half folks, outscoring us by 13. That's not just 5 minutes.

Some of you are trying to act like we can't point out areas of improvement. My point was on the coaching for letting the play get far too sloppy in the last 5 minutes.

What’s our record when we hit 9+ 3s
Against all teams, patsies included, or the kind that will be met in the NCAA tournament?

This is a strange position to take: 9 threes made, no matter the number of shots? 9 of 23, vs. 9 of 41. I wouldn't like to argue both sides of those numbers, if the plan is to win a string of games in the NCAA tournament.

Plus, it matters very much whether we get long rebounds off missed threes (often) or not (sometimes recently),

JFC this board
Yes. This board is just so negative anymore it is hard to even come in here.. @Dan can we have a secret room for those that don't want to constantly complain about everything. It is not a lot of fun now. Something needs to be done with the negative crowd.

He’s just yelling about something that went wrong on the court. Essentially coaching about a messed up switch, our scouting error or missed screen or what could’ve/should’ve been done etc.
Yes as a former bench player myself more often than nought you get to hear the coach rant and rave in your direction for what the players on the floor are doing.
