“Big Ten Basketball at it’s VERY best!...”. Thus said the Fox TV broadcaster as the game was winding down.

THAT was one, fun College Basketball game. Two Elite teams going at it as only two Elite Big Ten teams can.

Note to Illini Training Staff: PLEASE find out what Keaton had for breakfast this morning – and feed that to all the Illini for the rest of the Season.

Watching this legendary Wagler performance today almost makes one want to thank the State of Kansas for something. Well, almost.

What a future ahead for this young man. He’s got the perfect body-build to play this game in any era but especially for how the game is played today.

What a find by the Illini. What a gem. What a Saturday to remember.

We’ll always remember... Forty-Six.

And what good things are yet in store for this great Illini group.
And for the second time this season...I get to call out @and 69 others (y)

It's pretty insane how consistently good we've been on the road in the Big Ten, and that is like the ultimate measure of a coach in my book.

Today was a quintessential top-level chess match between two of the greats.
I really want people to internalize this. These are the moments you look back on. These are the days of miracle and wonder.

We dreamed for more than a decade in vain hope that Illinois Athletics could find itself where it is right now.
Can't emphasize this enough. Illini fan life right now is fantastic.

If you love high level basketball this was a great one to watch because both teams made so many adjustments on both ends to counter what was happening. At the end of the day the offenses were just too good to stop and Illinois size gave them the advantage of getting more chances.
Feels like I’ve been waiting 10+ years to have more height than Purdue…feels good now.

Found this from a Purdue fan on Redditt

'To put in perspective how rare that kind of game is, I looked into some game logs for Steph Curry. Ya' know, just the greatest three point shooter in the history of the game. Even by relaxing the criteria quite a bit to >65% from three on 8 or more attempts, Steph has just 40 such games in the 1,000+ he has played in his NBA career. Make it match Wagler today (11+ attempts on >80% shooting from three) and you get one game. You read that right. One. Game."
