Finally a good first half with good movement of the ball and Moretti showed great skills getting the ball to the open man.....Hope he mends fast as we need him........showed him in a boot on the bench in the second half........
Looks like the trainers have their hands full with all the ankles and whatever we absorbed in this game.........
TSJ got going early and continued all game ......the fall in the 2nd half was scary ......looked like he landed on the opponent's lower legs area..........I guess that cushioned it compared to the floor............
TSJ with 24 points and was a big part of the 17-0 run in the first half................
Domask with only 3 pts but 9 reb's.................
Guerrier with a highlight reel dunk............

Hansberry is gonna be a star......mark it down right now......Plays with superior BB IQ and is a rebounding machine......

Agree, we've lost the KenPom TO% (which regression says accounts for ~25% of winning, the second largest of the four factors behind shooting) relative to our opponent in 4 of 5 games (5 of 6 if you include the Kansas exhibition), so is an area of concern. Even Eastern IL, Southern and Valpo have had better ball security than us while losing badly. Can get away with it against lower level opponents, but if not remedied will shrink our margin of error/ability to survive off shooting nights and may end up costing us some games against high D1 opponents.
On the positive side, offensive rebounding was great tonight and we have bested our opponents in 5/5 games so far (6 of 6 if you include the Kansas exhibition).
Kinda crazy that with those 110 rebounds in two games, we didn't have a double digit rebounder in either game. We really have a solid rebounding team.

Everyone's guessing, I'm not an MD but high ankle sprains are just what they say, sprained ligaments higher up the leg. They usually take a lot longer to heal. Jamar got one and was lost for most of a season.
hoping it's just a rolled ankle, mild sprain. Larry Nance of the Cavs said he used to roll his once a wreek, he'd get them taped up a little tighter then be good to go

Can Harmon not play the point at all? I thought he played hard tonight and at least we moving on offense. His defense looks better than DGLs also.
High ankle sprains suck. I had one and it took several months and a lot of PT to fully recover. Doc told me they are worse than a break. Hope Nico isn't dealing with one of those.

Other than the turnover sloppiness, effectively dominated them start to finish, which was a welcome sign. Game was never in doubt.

Is the Hawkins injury issue one to be concerned about?
That Nico injury did not look minor based on how awkward it was.

Broken ankle or foot you wouldn’t be putting any weight on it at all, likely. Not even in a boot. Sucks to see the time of the injury just as he was starting to gel at PG
