Champaign
Did they say what the Rutgers player did to his knee, my photo looks like it was a possible dislocation.

Obviously totally irrevalent!! But nice try!

I sorta treat it like I treat SoCal, everything from north of San Diego up to Santa Barbara is LA.

And I love to say it to peeps from Orange County, they lose their minds!

total domination . heck yes. That game was a lot of fun and I liked how much fun the players were having out there.

also it was cool to see Deron Williams back in Champaign all decked out in Illini gear.

No he didn't

he shot 50% from 2 but only 1-5 from 3, at least 3 of those were bail out last second shots. Very few ( I think 1) maybe were point blank.

I would like better 3 % but the 50% from 2 I would take anyday, he shot difficult 2pt shots tonight.:chief:

Either that or his leg snapped....His leg was going the wrong direction. Based on the fact that he was back on the bench at the end of the game dislocation seems like a better bet.

Based on the way the players (and the refs) reacted in disgust, and the way his leg looked, it seemed like it might have been a major break at first.

Not a lot of comments for a beat-down win. I will chime in and show my support for the team. Seem to be getting it going finally. Basketball is so much more fun when winning :thumb:

I saw a lot of good interior passing tonight, which is one of my favorite events. Very happy with that.

Saw speed from TF (big surprise . . . not!) which just makes us better. Great to see him flying downcourt, pressuring the defense.

Leron was very patient (for Leron) tonight, which bodes well.

Kept the pedal to the metal, which indicates to me that BU's messages are being delivered and received.

All in all, a terrific win.
On to Columbus.

Of our remaining 8, I think we have a very good chance in 5 of them, but OSU, MSU and PU look pretty tough. Sure beats the feeling I had after 8 games. Go :illinois:

Bush-league announcers were so busy talking about Ohio State at the end, the one guy didn't even get the score right. It was 91-60, not 90-61. Way to go Fighting Illini. Win streak at 2.

A few other things that I caught... DaMonte is Frank's son, and pretty sure Jalen Brunson plays for Illinois.

It would legit put us square on the bubble, that's for sure.

I hope you're joking. The only way Illinois sniffs the tourney is if they go 6-2 over the remaining 8 games and win one of the games against Purdue or Michigan State.

And, after all of that, wins the B1G Tournament.
