Ty and Marcus take advantage of the way fouls are called. Let offensive players move into defensive players and if there is contact on the shot it is a defensive foul. If the offensive player is skilled and strong can only be stopped by blocking the shot. Like to see that athletic shot blocker on next year’s team.

I thought LaPhonso Ellis was pretty good on the call.

I was working the first half and just listening to the tv (I’m a barber)…. Was he the one who was saying to keep taking it right at Wisconsin’s guy who got 2 fouls in the first half (Storr?) and then the dude was obviously taken out as everyone else would assume would happen? Seemed obvious to me and weird for a commentator, when I don’t think they left him in for any time after he got that foul. Maybe it’s just me haha.

I think Sam Maniscalco would take issue with this bold statement...

There's a player I haven't thought about in a long time. Haha. The last memory I have of him is that back when I still had Twitter, I tweeted something critical of him during or after a game...didn't @ him or anything, just a general tweet, and she replied to me and blasted me for whatever I'd said with how I was a no good loser, etc. I wonder if he's still with her...and if she's ever keyed his car.

Wahls reaction after that dropped said everything about being owned by MD all game. MD gives up about 3 inches in height too.

I think people doubt how athletic MD is (think they are wrong) because he isn’t flashy, and undervalue how hard it is to do what he’s doing to these defenders
Like a more athletic Larry Bird? 🤣

Updated EM after yesterday's slate of all the B1G teams that are relevant (except Nebraska, who plays Rutgers today):

1709484953508.png

- Illinois has almost caught Purdue offensively in conference (and did catch them on KenPom in adjusted offensive efficiency), and Purdue is having a historic offensive season. A win Tuesday could very well push them past Purdue for conference offense.
- Purdue and Illinois will finish on a different EM stratosphere than the rest of the conference. There's a bigger difference between #2 Illinois and #3 MSU. than between #3 MSU and #11 PSU, and a bigger difference between #1 Purdue and #3 MSU than between #3 MSU and #13 Indiana.
- Michigan has lapped the field in the other direction, deservedly clinching the #14 seed.
- If the BTT tournament started today, MSU, the 3rd best B1G team, would be the 7 seed and line up for a potential matchup with Illinois on Friday.
- Iowa has creeped their way into postseason conversation with yesterday's road win over NW, and now have a week off to prepare for Illinois next weekend.

And that’s a foul. I know MD was fading away, but he’s pushing under him (with his arms up and chest out). Hawkins absolutely gets whistled there.
Like one of a few cylinder violations they didn’t call?

It was fun to watch the back and forth. Wahl couldn't stop Domask but we had no one who could stop Wahl either.

Been a couple late evening games I missed this year but was able to record. If I watch live BP is up and down, if I record and watch later BP stays low. Maybe it's the fast-forward through commercials that does it? I could never coach ,I'd be dead before half from a heart attack
