Cali have watched film on the Newman kid from Nashville? What's your grade on him?

Ilb Dontavious Jackson tx 62 248 what was not to love big extremely physical and nasty with speed playing under control 4* 5.85
Sde/ ? Leo Kaderrion Mason Ms 3* 5.65 VVg tools nasty, phy, tuff sheds vvwell sees the ball vv well already 6'5 250. Nice
3tech/nt Curtis Weaver Ca listed at 6'4 265 more like 295 or better just a bully against guys playing at 220 not sure he will be all that when they are as big as him also seemed undisciplined 3* 5.55. Pass if i found better.
Jc CB Dantrell Johnson Ia 5'10 175. Undersized seemed to lack speed to make up for lack of size only a 3* 5.55. pass.
CB Anthony Johnson OH 6'3 175 Ex ht, , vvg & smooth hips vvg sp, qu, burst vg-vvg st, power could be more physical but willing tackler. Hi pts needs 15-20 lbs. mid 3* 5.6
FS/ SS Stanley Green Mo 6'1 190 vvg quick reads trusts his eyes, finding ball to make play. You know when he hits you, but breaks down 4 tackle. vv phy smart & tuff mid /hi 3* 5.65 I like him.

I tried watching Newman's tape but it was him solely at te and de. It was plain to see he was neither but getting a read for ot just not enough there for me to speculate from.

On Offense
Wr Zach Farrar tx 6'3 210 big smooth vvg tools through out including hands, use of open field and will catch in traffic the one thing I want to see on any new kid is serious speed for his position not sure Zach is that fast. High 3* 5.7.
Wr Adwale Omotosho tx 6'3 190 speed is closer to what I am talking about or vvg-ex sp other tools all vvg hi pts , adjust well to ball and willing blocker same grade as Farrar.
Slot/Wr Donnell Dunn tx 5'11 191 Ex-vvg sp now that is what I am talking about a genuine deep thread. Needs to sharpen his breaks in routes again high 3* 5.7
Te Chase Allen mo 6'7 225 This kid I seriously like. High end vvg tools period. High pts just wins any jump ball for 4 years. ex football iq and want 2. VV nice routes and already knows when to sit down in the open field. Oh he can block well . Wanted to rate him higher but question his opponents so again high 3* 5.7 I would take him before Holcombe.

G/T Darta Lee Tx 6'3 290 VV nasty but under control unlike Robinson, vvg-ex punch always has legs driving, sets up and seals block vv well, extremely phy, tuff texan, only question is sustaining pass block an that can be taught. High 3* 5.7 ( yes I know about the grade but it is what I am seeing)
G Jahmir Johnson Pa 6'5 272v nasty needs to keep pumping his legs in pass pro, needs work on tech hands and feet/ vvg getting to & blocking 2nd level has vvg phy tools . Mid 3* 5.6
G not T but G Sean Foster Ill 6'8 295 does not have very good feet possibly even for guard. He has vvg power, st, a tuff grinder type who already seems well coached leaving me wonder how much upside he has, unlike J Johnson above. He just seems to lack mobility. He got an extremely generous grade of mid 3* 5.65 should be more like a low 3* 5.5.
I would likely pass on Foster if I could take the other two or somebody not mentioned.

surprised you didn't have dontavious jackson on here since you labeled him a 4 star and you rarely do that. Is he not very realistic?

I only know what I read as to which kids like us or not, just not heard anything one way or the other on Jackson. If he would come love to take him for ilb. I know Shemar Smith has some serious fans but have not found tape on him for olb.

Didn't realize Jackson was such a high profile recruit with offers from everyone. Was hoping he was a diamond in rough that we had a shot with.
