From what I just read you can scratch Davis and Benson from that list. Anything regarding Swenson's visit has gone dark. I don't like the odds, oh and I don't like Oliver I saw him as a 3 tech not de and a low 2 star at that. DE Kadarrion Mason would be my choice, now he impressed.

Is Swenson going to Northwestern instead of us? That would sting.
Benson was afraid SMU would pull his scholly so he didn't come.
LB Reynolds commited to Pitt today.

Welcome Tymir to Illini Nation! 
For me at least the best way to salvage him is to consider him a 3 tech from the jump. Had to go back to my notes one big flaw easily was inconsistent an non insistent effort.:tsk:
Almost forgot if we can land Mason from Ms.and can't take him because of Oliver that will pi$$ me off.

Another commit
On Oliver had to go back and watch his tape again apologies. Musy of been tired or cranky.
While I still think he is an excellent prospect for the 3 tech, he would be vvg at setting the edge at sde and give the occasional sack. He is not a low 2 star as I posted earlier although I still much prefer Mason for his pass rushing abilities. He is a mid to maybe low 3* grading out around 5.6/5.55. One thing lacking is better long distance speed most of his better rushes were from a burst and 15 yds or under. So not likely going to chase a qb or rb to the sidelines to make a play.

Haha - I hope he turns out to be a vg or vvg player
Cubit has proven he will drop recruits if he has better options. I think he would drop Jones if Mason becomes available

Yes. All 3 are most likely candidates for redshirting. They all are athletic but raw. We really need Jordan Carmouche and 2 more dynamic offensive lineman.
