Thad is starting to become one of my favorite coaches. First he coaches up Foster and Coleman now he's keeping us informed the best he can. :thumb:

Thad is easily my third favorite coach on this staff (after Lovie and McGee), although he's pushing hard to be my favorite. I did NOT anticipate his hire to be so productive (recruiting and RB position)

It's pretty standard that Sternquist at least does the hot columns thing when we get a commit.

Well last night, they made references to Peoria.

Tonight, several of the coaches have re-tweeted Garrick Mcgee's picture of the arch + "both sides" from a week ago. I would assume that meant someone from STL or East Side. Although, I could be reading into it way too much.

Why so many wideouts (I know the Illini need WRs), is Lovie just getting the fastest/most athletic kids out there and going to put them at a position to succeed? I imagine with his NFL experience a high ceiling 3* kid would could be sold on switching from wr to ss (for example) if Lovie told them they had great potential there. I'm just wondering if this is his plan if so it is brilliant and would make the Illini the most athletic squad in the west within 3 years

I'm guessing Dorsey is being targeted as a TE given his frame and our needs at that position.

Not sure how much I believed the "Lovie getting restless" talk, but either way, this recruitment hype has to be reassuring to him and what he is doing here.
