The optimist in me says Avery. McGee doesn't tweet all too often, and on the few occasions he's done something like this before, I seem to remember it was news on a big recruit. That said, you might wonder why the OC is tweeting out a giant smiley face for a DT...

Then again, I think Hayes-Stoker was the lead recruiter here, so you never know!

I'm sure no one here knows but that emoticon is probably bigger than Atwell.

I would really like to believe this is about Avery as we desperately need a recruit like this but all indications are that he's going to TCU. He was even at one of their practices recently. TCU does not have a DT commit and feels pretty good about the chances of landing him.

Not one CB for us out of 14. Some of them are old but 2 popped up for TCU this morning and even Ramos has predicted TCU. Since they've already made the announcement video you'd think something would leak if he was picking Illinois.

That would make more sense. He visited with Myers and Avery back in June but he was also at Texas less than two weeks ago. Nothing to do now but wait......

From what I have been reading we have a good chance with Avery. I don't know why but I have a good feeling about that. Now the sane among you will know these kind of feelings are meaningless. But I am enjoy the feeling so I am sticking with it .:cool:
