Meh. Not necessarily saying Cooper will end up here, but what else would you expect from an OU recruiting site?
On top of that it's from Aug 1st. I think he said he wanted to see improvement out of Illinois to be considered so the next few games could sway him either way quite a bit. We need the Purdue game badly.

I'm think August 1st is the thing that makes this scary.

Obviously Oklahoma thinks highly of themselves and their fanbase does too (especially in competing with Illinois). Most people close to the matter think Cooper will be in the orange and blue with the class of 2019. But, it certainly is not a lock and I do not feel exceptionally comfortable with a commitment following what his dad said about Oklahoma. I do think he will commit to us, but I do not think we are a lock.

I definitely agree with that. If we lose to Rutgers and Purdue I think he goes to Oklahoma. Hope I'm wrong and I hope we don't have to worry about that.

What bothers me most is we could beat both of them and maybe one or two others and he still goes elsewhere. We need to put ourselves in play and hope for the best.

williams had 5 TD passes, one to childress, and two scoring runs of 60 yards all in the first three quarters
trinity won 72-15, has won four in a row after 0-2 start

I've never seen a highlight reel that features more than one bobbled snap, lol

Kidding aside, he looks good. What a gun.

Any news on when Shammond is going to commit? I thought it was going to be around October? Maybe if we put a beat down on Rutgers?

IIRC it came out a while back he was planning the UA All American game so could be a while still.

On the Oklahoma topic, if I had a gut feel based upon twitter activity it does seem to favor Oklahoma, but Illini don’t seem far behind.

Cooper mentioned visits to Oklahoma and Mizzou. It sounds like he's down to Illinois, Mizzou, Oklahoma and Texas.

Texas picked up their third linebacker commit of the 2019 class this past weekend. I wonder if they'll have another scholarship available for this class at the LB position...

They wouldn’t turn down Cooper, but I do think there is an opportunity a different linebacker backs out if Cooper commits
