Safety perhaps? One that spends a lot of time in the box. He had really good speed in high school.Agree - but what position would he change to? The other side of the ball?
Not a big football recruitnik, but I share these sentiments. Hopium can be a scary thing, but I'm a little buzzed by staff's efforts. Think they can build the program to respectability. Love that 9 of our signees are going to enroll early.Getting on the recruiting hype train is never a good idea, but the more I listen to people dissect the class, the better I feel. And I felt pretty good anyway. Werner and Trieu both think several guys are ranked too low. I also think the emphasis on in state guys probably gave a lower avg player score than would be otherwise, but was necessary to get some momentum in-state and will pay dividends down the road. Next year I would hope. Some of this years guys may not have high ceilings, but they could have higher floors than many players we’ve recruited the past 5 years.
I believe we have 6 spots open. Bielema mentioned we can go to 28. I’m sure some of those will be held for spring and there could be more names coming in after the bowl games start finishing up.
I finally got around to listening to these and I'm surprised that no one mentioned a couple of interesting comments by Bielema in the early signing period press conference.

If we could get Jagusah to come aboard, that would be awesome. Would be like Mike White reeling in Jim Juriga back in the early 80sTo keep it going....is Charles Jagusah not Sagusah. I will say he should be priority #1
Well … he’s from BB’s neck of the woods, so maybe there’s some hope?If we could get Jagusah to come aboard, that would be awesome. Would be like Mike White reeling in Jim Juriga back in the early 80s
No, those kids are already ranked (3 or 4 stars) by 247.Thank you for the list. What are the numbers on the left? Your personal ranking?
He is talking about Devito. But can't specifically talk about him until he is enrolled in January.I finally got around to listening to these and I'm surprised that no one mentioned a couple of interesting comments by Bielema in the early signing period press conference.
13:20 - Starts talking about quarterbacks and at 13:30 says that they may add another senior transfer player. So apparently no promise was given to TDV.
24:00 - Will not get to 85 scholarships. Also talked about giving to walk-ons and there may be some blue shirts from last year. This was surprising to me because I thought Robert Rosenthal laid out how there would have to be a lot of transfers out of the program to get down to 85 scholarships.
Can an "Insider" put an asterisk in front of the number for kids we actually have a chance with? Like I know the kid from Rock Island is going to Iowa. Thats a given for the Quad Cities, but what about the others? Thanks. Some big Offensive linemen in the Illinois HS 2023 class. Some aren’t ranked yet, but look the part fairly well.

We need to get a kid like #10 TJ McMillen. Maybe I have a bias, I know TJ's family. His dad is his coach in Wheaton and is an Arena Football hall of famer. His brother is a coach at New Mexico State. I think he will be a solid player. Some big Offensive linemen in the Illinois HS 2023 class. Some aren’t ranked yet, but look the part fairly well.

The Leonard kid would be one obvious choice. The East St Louis kids don’t , at this time list Illinois highly or at all. Cooper Starks looks like a good possibility, huge kid, 3A All State. Austin Barrett and Chris Terek are also ones to follow. McMillen could be a center, and good add also. Can an "Insider" put an asterisk in front of the number for kids we actually have a chance with? Hello BRANDON LLOYDKittner is the only one since the 80s, would have thought one of our RBs, Juice, or maybe Mercilus would have received a few points.
Agree, but I feel much more optimistic about our future there on the FB front with BB, TH, and CP at the helm of our ship.ESL is such a bedeviling place for us, in both sports really.
AJ Jenkins would like to also have a word!Hello BRANDON LLOYD
