Never seen (heard of) so many TE's being recruited over a 2-year period --- and yet we don't have one on the roster who can catch 50 passes (see Ken Dilger - 1994) in a single season.

I realize I'm naive when it comes to the offensive playbook, but I'm also thinking that numerous and repeated 4-6-8 yard passes to the tight end are a magnificent and complementary way to move the ball down the field.....especially for someone as accurate as DeVito.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but if we pursue any of the UVA transfers, this may impact thier eligibility.

To me, this doesn't really make sense. They played 10 games. What happened there was horrible, but is the hurdle for a redshirt now 10 games? Lots of football players missed two games this year. Of course, I thought giving basketball players an extra year after they played 30 games in 2019-20 was kind of nuts, too.

Not sure how you could look at that as anything but a good thing for those kids. Who cares how many extra years they get, they've been through it all.
