Appreciate it pru. By the way, I'll take more complaining compared to apathy. More new posters is a good thing
I like your post , but the jury is still out on your last sentence........I log in usually around 5-6 am and have the window open till I go upstairs for the evening and there has been a few newbie's that have not been a good thing.....I get your drift but I think some are trolls from other fandom's looking for a thrill trying to rile up the homer's here......JMHO.....

Not a knock on the kid. He had two other offers and they were both from MAC. I'm happy for him and wish him the best representing Illinois. I was merely stating a fact. My negativity is not directed at any players, only the apparent lack of respect for the program from anyone not posting on this forum.
huh? All I hear is your lack of respect. you should go back and read through your history of posts. n

all these visits and no commits.....starting to worry about this staffs ability to recruit

We had a discussion before the recruiting visit about how it was likely to not get any commits from this recruiting visit. Go look at last year's class and timing of verbals if you have doubts. If it's end of May and the situation hasn't changed, then it's time to stress.

UW gets a commit from a top 20 in-stater from a top-producing school like Bolingbrook. Not sure we had offered yet, but UW definitely is going hard after Illinois recruits. They already have the #6 rated in-state recruit and lead in the CBs for #8 and #13

We'll keep trying for instate recruits, but it'll take more than one good year to get more guys in the top 20. Till then, we will keep hitting Ohio, New Jersey, and Florida hard

I can understand your frustration with people, as you do have more info than most others, but you can't blame people for being frustrated in either sport given the lack of news, while other schools are getting significant commitments.
Same thing happened last year......BB has given us results

BB has a system to his madness and we don't need 10 commits early to have 8 of them decommit before or transfer after the 1st season. Fans would love love it but I trust what BB is building here.....famILLy :illinois:

Seems like we could easily poach him. Only 1,000% committed. It barely counts if he's not at least 10,000% committed.
