Thanks for the response. It wasn't the fans I was thinking of, it was more of if Lunney were gone, would that affect Petty's decision since the offense would then presumably change as well.

I dont know who the guy with the glasses is but the bald guy with the beard is Caleb Pyfrom's (illinois OL decommit) coach at Omaha Central - Terrence Mackey.
Those guys look a little old and undersized to help on the line next year. Are they grad transfers?

6-6, 300 pound C/T class of 2026. Twitter bio says he’s a 3 sport athlete but doesn’t mention which ones.
His teammate that will be with him is Frank Sanders — 6-4, 215 2025 DE/DT. Per his Twitter page, stats this year were 37 tackles, 23 solo, 6 sacks, 13 tfl and 1 fum recovery.
They attend Lincoln (IL) Community HS.
Notre Dame's 2nd in-state 2025 commitment (along with Reiff). Tough to lock down those borders

locking down our borders is a raging pipe dream, if there ever was one
that said, our goal should be considerably improved Illinois recruiting. staff has done a good job, thus far. but they have a long way to go

It's never been about locking out the premier programs. ND will get theirs in the midwest. It's more about locking out the Wisconsins, Iowas, Minnesotas and the likes.
