Bielema re-tweeting a Mizzou offer?

It’s an interesting tweet given that Jonas Williams is going to be one of the more highly recruited players in the state of IL for 26, but he is a Chicago suburbs kid. We offered him in April 2023, while Mizzou just did (obviously). Is there anything more to this? Just seems like an odd shot.

Took a while to figure out Bielema’s tweet and RT but Clint “A$AP Cozzy” Cosgrove from Rivals dot com has solved the riddle and then some. With Jerry Krause long deceased it’s safe to now call Cozzy “the sleuth”. BB taking first of many shots at Mizzou and serious about protecting his turf. Just the beginning it seems. Cryptic and fun commentary from Cozzy who while a Missouri delegate, keeps things impartial.

Coaches can retweet but not quote tweet? I guess I'm over my skis. Regardless, it just looks clunky. Trying to protect your turf by amplifying an offer for an in-state prospect from another school is a peculiar choice.

Especially when the other school has been having a lot of success, especially in an area (STL) that was once considered fruitful for UI

Seems completely random to me as well but I don't know the behind the scenes issue Bret may have had with miznoz recently. Not like we were the first to offer the kid either, so just looks like little brother trying to stay involved from my POV unfortunately
