Shull brings up a question: Do HS o-line recruits get NIL? Offensive line is notorious for taking a couple years before you are ready for college football. Shull would very high regarded for Illinois football recruiting standards, but he's also not so highly ranked that elite teams can picture him starting in year 1.

My assumption is he would get some, but it's not a bidding war (which would be huge for Illinois because Auburn and TAMU are involved).

We're going to be involved ...

To someone like him, I imagine our staff can make our RB room appear pretty appealing:

RB1: Frosh who played part of the year (showed potential) but ended season with injury
RB2-4: underclassmen with minimal career carries, recent injury concerns
RB5: True frosh

And, it's an offense focused around running the FB

He's definitely not worried about beating out our guys in his mind. I think Tenn will be tough to beat, but shoot our shot
