it’s all part of the process . it wasn’t a total waste of time .

you get some , you lose some . sometimes the lad wants to come so badly he accepts on day 1. sometimes they don’t .

just because we don’t get named tonite does not mean it’s over . besides , the good will that we earn throughout the state with other coaches will pay off .

everyone knows how hard we tried . that means a lot

Wtf are you talking about. You must be young or thinking our Illini have been Bama for past 20 years under Saban. Recruiting studs under Lovie, Beckham, all coaches going back. Until Zook was a waste of time. Have you not been paying Attention to what CoachB and staff have been doing. What Whitman and athletic department? Did you Not watch athletic director Josh had to say about Coach B, 10 days ago? " the hardest working coach and man with a plan I've ever Encountered". Drop your line in the stream. See about Catching the biggest Fish. Well I personally like our "26", stud fishes so far. GMAFB. Coach B and team don't wast time.

If you take the money spent on the 15 visits and apply it to the NIL, do we match Ole Miss? Legit just a random thought out of curiosity

P.S. I know it's not realistic because if you spent $0 on visits, no one would ever come, it's just a hypothetical! lol

most of the visits were unofficial. time is the big wasted expense with this recruitment, not money, though i’ve heard time is money, so i digress

yeah, the difference between the West Suburban Silver and where Sutter and Anderson play is enormous. no slight on the latter two, it's out of their control, obviously. pretty optimistic that Vala will pan out

Could be but this year he is still in high school, next year likely to redshirt as most freshman do, and then competing to get on the field as a redshirt freshman season 3. Technically 2 years in the calendar but 3 football seasons
