Yes.. Alabama has snuck in a few jobs on us lately, but not today...I did want Sutter and Cabell and the RB we had..It at least tells me that Bielema and staff are at the table. They are eating with the Clydesdales instead of the shetlands..lol
You’re exactly right.

But technically they’re at the trough though, right? If they’re eating with horses? 🐴

truly an amazing turnaround by this staff. A decade ago, 5 other P4 offers would pretty much be the max for our commits. Now 5 is basically the floor. It feels so much better going up against Alabama, Michigan, and Oklahoma than Ball State and Delaware.
or losing a guy to Elon

yea, that really happened about 20 years ago

I'm repeating myself every several weeks but here goes again: I'm not getting tired of this unfamiliar feeling of checking into the football threads during the summer and getting goosebumps about our potential for this season and beyond.

Don't leave out mighty Elon. They were a recruiting thorn in our side during the Ron Turner years.

I typically avoid comments that look like post-op adjustments, but I'll need some faith from the audience that I believed this beforehand: Eberhart has a much higher ceiling for impact at Illinois because of his position / scheme than Anderson/Sutter. Still absolutely would want one of those guys to flip to Illinois. That said, you absolutely take a 4-star defensive back over a 4-star tight end in a vacuum.
