Still over a week left for entries — but I’m a bit surprised none of the three backs have transferred. I think Valentine is one you absolutely don’t want to lose, but all three coming back didn’t seem most likely to me.

Does anybody know how Bowick managed to get a 90 grade as a transfer from 247? Good for #26 transfer WR and #106 transfer overall? I haven't been able to figure that one out.

Btw it appears he's headed to Oklahoma St. and Curt Neal to Purdue. Those may have been posted on here already but I didn’t see them.

The rankings don’t make sense. I’m pretty sure Cole Rusk is also ranked high

Scout watched the first three games and decided they had seen enough.

None of these players have been scouted by the recruiting services. 4,000+ players have entered the portal in less than a week. They’re likely just assigning grades based on the school you’re transferring from.

I get it. Yes if you can get a stud go for it but they don’t have to be the focal point of the passing game. Barry does a really good job of picking his spots to get guys like Arkin the ball. Redzone, off split zone bluffs, RPOs, leaks, PA.

I think Valentine really started to show something by the end of the year and definitely in the bowl game. I would expect him to step up and be a difference maker.

Funny how everyone forgets about Laughery. Had the most yards per carry 5.1, longest run 57 yards, and gained 382 yards in only 9 games. He's the best one of the group IMO.

um, productive when healthy but Valentine pops on film in a different way to my eyes.

would love to see way more pass catching out of the backfield, for both of them could be explosive but more so Valentine

He could use some pass protection blocking lessons from Chase Brown though.

The just need to make every game a bowl game and he would be one of the best backs in college football.
