Feel better now worth Fifer
It is really tough for UI to land top 10 instate prospects. Our bread and butter are the guys in the 11-30 range. If we get our share there and land a few from St Louis/IN/OH and a few Newtons and Witherspoons from FL and TX we will a consistent bowl teamlosing out on the cream sucks, but I love our new targets. no reaches, all BIG caliber prospects. great job by our ID staff. really think that most of these kids are gettable

He coached awesome vs So Carolina in the bowl game...never said that. we said he can't coach.
Wagner was never coming to IllinoisAnother big time in state addition. I actually thought it would be flip flopped on Wagner and Fifer but this is cool. The thing to keep in mind is the season is coming (And I think it will be another ery good one to say the least). I'm not counting out none of these recruits.
Does this mean the basketball player will not be joining??
How much is he worth?Feel better now worth Fifer

Kevin Bontemps. Illinois basketball. Early 80sI cannot say for certain but he might be the 1st Morton Potter to get a D1 scholarship at a P5 school.
J.R. Koch who's son is Copper Koch played at Iowa and Derek Grimm played for Missouri.Kevin Bontemps. Illinois basketball. Early 80s
A 16 year old at 6'7" and 300 lbs. Imagine the poor mother cooking for that kid!Fifer is still only 16
Sorry. I meant football. I used to shoot hoops with Kevin Bontemps when I was about 10. His family lived next door to my grandparents.Kevin Bontemps. Illinois basketball. Early 80s
Yep. Just meant football. That Morton team had J.R. Koch, Derek Grimm and another 6'7" guy with a last name of Litwiller. Watched them play in a regional final against Acie Earl and Moline back in the day. Great game.J.R. Koch who's son is Copper Koch played at Iowa and Derek Grimm played for Missouri.
Brady would be another VG downstate get
