Social media response (at least on Instagram) actually seemed to be a lot of excitement! I do think the prevailing attitude regarding the current set is that they’re not traditional enough to be as plain as they are, but I hope people can mostly like the new ones!

I think this is it, though I am wondering if there is going to be an orange version to match the "old school Broncos" rumors.
(though for many of the players, the Elway Super Bowl victory Broncos are old school)

Yeah that's interesting about the number font for the date in the tweet. Having modern numbers with such a non-modern look as the shoulder stripes is certainly a bold idea. Hopefully it works out.

No one would ever describe the numbers as "modern" without reference to them having been part of the rebrand.
As a matter of fact, one of the great sins of the rebrand is the way the very "modern" (for better or worse) 1LL1NO1S script doesn't match at all with the number font.
Strongly dislike that the stripes on helmet are inverted from the shoulder, but I wouldn't become physically ill or anything...
What would you prefer? If you did a strict copy you’d just have a single white stripe given that the base of the helmet is orange.
