You and I have our fingers crossed for the same thing. My biggest reason for thinking it'll actually happen this time is how positively the Underwood hire was received by the national media. It's gonna be a hell of a ride for the next few years.

- The lack of Carlton Bragg talk is surprising. I guess its the unknown of how much mutual interest there is. I think it would be a great get. Bragg sitting out a year and having 2 more years is very enticing to me.

- IMO Tilmon will end up with one of the blue bloods...guessing North Carolina.

First time poster, Lifelong Illinois fan but Mizzou student here. Was told by one of the main bar managers here that Tilmon is here this weekend. MPJ, Knox, and Tilmon have bottle service and a security crew lined up for them tonight.

Pickett has a lot of talent and potential. He plays hard and does it all which is why he is compared to Malcolm a lot. He's not really great at anything, but he's good at almost everything. It's funny to here all the scouting reports on him after he decommitted. Many people are talking like he's a scrub.

I also think he has a chance to re-commit, unlike Tilmon who is gone. Pickett committed early so it makes since to open his ears to other opportunities.

Thanks for posting. I guess he was going whether he was released or not. This isn't going to sit well in Champaign.

I work with high school students. I'm not naive. I know what they get up to on the weekends.

But seriously? VIP and bottle service for high school recruits? I figure that the team will get them into parties, girls, etc. when they visit a school, but having it that out in the open just seems to be incredibly poor judgement.

Unless they're holding "bottle service" to two liters of pop.

Not sure what the situation is. Knox, MPJ, and Blake Harris have been all over town today. No sign of Tilmon yet. Different bar had bottle service for Knox and MPJ last night and the bar manager seemed to have been bragging that they got Tilmon tonight

I guess I'm incredibly naive but that's ridiculous for any school to set that up and good luck controlling those kids. I sure hope we aren't that obvious and reckless

I see it as being no different than when my students go and visit their older siblings or cousins on a campus. They certainly aren't sitting in a dorm, binging Netflix, and drinking milk all weekend. Some of them party. Hell, working in a high school in Illinois is the reason I can't go to Unofficial any more; there's too great a chance I'll run into current students in the bars.

I would expect nothing else from recruiting visits, although I'd imagine they go to greater lengths to keep them out of serious trouble. Having bottle service set up seems like begging for trouble.

I'd have to say I'm with Lmac66 on this one. It seems way too fishy to be true.

Let MU fans have their day because in 2 years the NCAA will be coming down on them like a ton of bricks. CM will be gone and their basketball program will be in bad shape.

Yeah no gloating here and Knox and Harris aren't Illini targets.

You are here to revel in the fact that Tilmon and co. are going to Mizzou. Like I said it is poor form to come rub it in on a fanbase whose recruiting class took a hit.

Again that whole post was in response to someone saying mizzou has no momentum and we aren't getting smith. Those were my points on our momentum.
