He pulled that list citing the potential reclassification to 2016 and the wave of transfers.

According to 247 and Verbal Commits, we never offered him so I don't think we were on him too hard. Personally, I'd rather have CM. I read somewhere recently that it'll be Virginia Tech, Xavier or Louisville for MJ.

TIFWIW... But I've been hearing that Pickett and Tilmon are still both trying to go to Althoff. The shoulder injury has changed some things in terms of Tilmon's move. Both Belleville East and West are not pleased at all.

Pickett can't go to Althoff next year. He would have to sit out due to a stupid transfer rule

I know that we aren't in the running for Michael Porter, Jr., but I would be willing to bet he will be heading to Washington as his dad just accepted an assistant coaching position with them.

His younger brother has already gave Washington a Verbal, so there's a pretty good chance he will as well. His High School team played in a sectional game during the state playoffs here in Warrenton. Kid is legit!! :chief::usa:

He would only have to sit out 30 days. If he plays a fall sport he could use those 30 days in a fall sport and play full bball season. Althoff is in Belleville where he already lives. It's not like he's now going to be driving from 40 miles away.

Read the transfer rules on the ihsa site. The way I understood it is he can only be eligible if he and his family just moved into the district, parents get divorce and whoever you stay with moves, and even then you need a judge to ok it.

If you're already in the district and transfer, you are ineligible for one full year. This is the way I interpreted it. Maybe I'm wrong and you're right though. Idk

Pretty sure that is correct. If they moved AND changed districts, then it is a different story.

How does smu, with their recent problems, and coach who could hang it up any day, playing in the conference they play in, continue to get in on and secure so many good players?

Kid has one of the nastiest mix tapes I've ever seen. And it's from his Freshman season!

How does a coach who is dirty, and has been dirty for a long time have success? Well, you can't teach an old dog new tricks and Larry is quite the old dog.

The real question is why the NCAA puts up with it......I know. It's the NCAA......

Not a fan of NCAA, but they are probably concerned of banning coaches due to lawsuits. Tarkenian is a good example.
