The fact that you are saying he was 5'8" at best and had highlight reel dunks only makes me want him more. I mean, Nate Robinson is the only dude I have heard of who's that short and has the insane athleticism to still be able to dunk a basketball. So either your height estimation is pretty off or you are way underestimating this kid's potential.
Being able to dunk is an understatement. This kid is double pump reversing, catching lobs & everything. Listed as 6 feet, but 5'8 or 5'9 is more accurate.

2019 6’0 Uplift G Markese Jacobs (@TheShowJacobs) lands offer from Illinois

Jacobs in an impressive player for MacFire. BU seems to like taller and longer guards, Feliz might be the exception. In the end, might not be a bad player to end up, likely very productive 4 year type player.

Feliz is 3" taller than Jacobs. At least. That 6' listed height is aspirational.

I watched him at EYBL in Indy this year, and he dominated. He was the best player on the floor the game I watched.

Good recruiters always get better players than the program deserves. Many posters believe that having a better showing than last year will automatically open the flood gates of recruiting. That is not necessary true. As posted before, Weber had great success early on(with Self's recruits), but recruiting suffered. Winning helps (but is also dependent on recruiting), but at the end it comes down to whether you are a good (hopefully great) recruiter or not.

We still need a great fall 2019 recruiting class. Still some time, but not hard to admit that we are not off to a great recruiting start so far.
I'm not sure about many posters believe that we'll have automatically opened floodgates. In fact, my guess would be none.

A better showing will help recruiting. Do you believe that?

Clearly, Underwood is coach first, recruiter second. But that doesn't mean that he can't be successful in recruiting and clearly that success will have to be driven in large part by results on the court.

Landed the Big O's Top four! With Kentucky (who hasn't even offered him yet), WVU and Baylor.

He should verbal that day. That's really all I want for my birthday and he can make it happen.
I imagine he'll wait to see if Kentucky offers on his visit at the end of September. I bet they will.

All I really want for my BDay is for OWW to have a happy BDay. In case we forget during the excitement of Oscar's verbal, Happy BDay!
