"As far as dominating smaller competition... how many high school bigs do that? I don't recall Meyers Leonard looking that dominant in high school either. The numbers are there for Rako most games."

Meyers was probably the last player left off the MCAA team. He was a consensus top 30 player and was selected on the USA vs World game. This team featured the top 12-15 players in the US. Oh and he drove the length of the court and jump over a kid for a dunk. Outside of this he was pretty unimpressive.

How is he a 16-year-old freshman? Was he held back several times? Could he even qualify at Illinois?

From the kids history it was probably a strategic move to have him be older than people in his grade. If you search his name you'll see people have been pushing him to be a great basketball player since he's been a toddler.

He didn't have any really good offers until VERY late. So much so that I as a Bradley fan was dying for them to offer in hopes top offers would never come. MSU and Kentucky came in late.

That said his handlers may have made him wait as long as it took to get the offer he wanted.

Unless there is some other pressing issue (like the NCAAs), I think the head coach of the state school should be there. For appearance sake if nothing else.

I wouldn't mind knowing we were in on Trayvon Martin of Curie. 6-7 sophomore who rebounds everything in sight.

Loyalty After Dark...we can only hope. Morrow was the guy I really wanted last class and Goodwin is the one for 2017.
