no one said it wasn't Goodwin. Cryptic, insider line reading told us that something with Tilmon would happen Wednesday. So when Roux reported "a visitor" tomorrow, immediate assumption was Tilmon. Could just as easily be Goodwin.

I hope it is Goodwin. He's gonna have his stock soaring in a matter of weeks. Would like him locked up ASAP.

Ok. I've just been assuming it wasn't Tilmon. With a game in NYC on Thursday I didn't think he would be here day before. I'm sure their flying out tomorrow. Would bet money it's Goodwin and he commits.

Whether it was their intent or not some posters seems to relish the Insider status and the pseudo board celebrity it brought with it. It was only natural that some vitriol would follow when their predictions or information did not pan out. Nature of the beast I guess.

I watched the supersectional game that Chastain's Leroy team played versus Newark that someone had posted the link to on here. I came away really impressed. Chastain alone outscored Newark for the first almost three quarters of the game, a team that was 28-2 going into it. He made something like 10 or his first 11 shots, many of them three pointers or jump shots. He displayed a variety of moves. He basically single-handedly won the state championship for Leroy (they only had one other remotely decent looking player, #24?). They slowed him down a bit in the second half only by double and triple teaming him and keeping the ball away from him. He did show a little shakiness a couple times with his ballhandling, which is where he appears to need the most work. I think he's going to be a really good player at the next level, though, wherever that may be.

He was also lost on defense, was not a good rebounder and didn't understand that he needs to have his head on a swivel. With his athleticism, those are all things that can be improved quickly through coaching but they are deficiencies now.

Things are certainly slow right now, this discussion has gone on for pages.

It's not Tilmon clearly. It's not Goodwin. I can think of one player taking visits right now but no one wants to hear that.

Maybe when Michigan released Spike they only said he could not go to B10 b-ball teams that Michigan views as a competitive peer.
